Third Annual Children’s Business Expo benefiting Texas Humane Heroes


Where:  The Goddard School in Leander Texas

When: Saturday October 26, 2013

Time:  11:00am – 2:00pm


The Children’s Business Expo will host local vendors displaying  child related services and products with all proceeds to benefit Texas Humane Heroes. The event is free.

Proceeds come from booth rental fees, a silent auction and donations for food.  It’s fun for the whole family!  Come enjoy games, prizes, a bounce house, food and much more.


Texas Humane Heroes Background Information

The mission of Texas Humane Heroes is to provide innovative programs and services to eliminate pet homelessness and to improve the lives of pets and people throughout Central Texas. Formerly known as the Humane Society of Williamson County (HSWC) and the CenTex Humane Society Second Chance Adoption Center, the organizations combined resources and merged into Texas Humane Heroes in January of 2013. Supporting two adoption centers in Central Texas, Texas Humane Heroes has locations in Leander and Killeen, Texas. Texas Humane Heroes is a not-for-profit 501(c)(3) organization, 100% funded by donations, grants and modest fees for services and receives no government funding. Goddard School in Leander Background Information  

The Goddard School is a private preschool for children from six weeks to six years of age. It is dedicated to providing a nurturing learning environment to develop children's natural curiosity, creativity and lifelong love of learning. The School has supported Texas Humane Heroes and its predecessor, The Humane Society of Williamson County, with fund raising activities for the past three years.  The school is located at 1730 Union Street in Leander Texas.  For more information about the Goddard School please visit
