On Saturday, December 7th, 2013, Project Transitions hosts its annual Holiday Swing fundraiser at the Shoal Creek Events Center to benefit people living with HIV/AIDS.  This year’s gala, “25 Years Of Opening Doors” celebrates the silver anniversary of Project Transitions’ holiday party that makes it possible to provide hospice and housing options for those affected by HIV/AIDS in Central Texas.

The event will feature open swing dancing, entertainment, food and cocktails to the delight of more than 1,000 anticipated guests. Attendees will enjoy live performances by Sentimental Journey and The Studebakers. Event guests will be able to bid on hundreds of silent auction items for their holiday shopping. Plus, a photo booth will give guests the opportunity to make their own holiday keepsakes.

Thanks to our many past sponsors! 100 percent of funds raised at Holiday Swing will go directly to fund Project Transitions’ programs: hospice, housing and support for people living with HIV/AIDS. For nearly 24 years Project Transitions has compassionately cared for people living with HIV and AIDS in Central Texas.

Sponsorships and individual tickets are available online at www.HolidaySwing.org.

Josh Allen, Project Transitions’ Executive Director, is available for interviews before and during the event. Other interviews may also be arranged for tie-ins to HIV/AIDS issues – contact Ricardo Jimenez at 454-8646 ext. 104 or RJimenez@ProjectTransitions.org.

Project Transitions is dedicated to serving people with HIV and AIDS by providing hospice, housing, and support in a compassionate and caring environment. In addition to hospice care at Doug’s House, Project Transitions offers transitional housing at Roosevelt Gardens, Highland Terrace as well as the Community Housing program and operates Top Drawer Thrift Store.
