Austin man gets probation following intoxication manslaughter and assault charges

State District Judge David Crain has sentenced an Austin man to nine years probation following his conviction on two counts of intoxication manslaughter and two counts of intoxication assault.

The jury found 23 year old Ruben Correa Arzola, guilty back in October. The charges stemmed from a 2010, wreck in North Austin that killed two people, 16 year old Francisco Gabriel Villegas, and 17 year old Miguel Angel Correa-Hernandez. The wreck also seriously injured three others, including Arzola, his brother, Rene Jose Arzola, and Sergio Vasquez, both now 20.
