Video footage led authorities to a group of teens who engaged in sexual activity on the campus of Cedar Park Middle School earlier this month, Cedar Park police announced today.

The Cedar Park Police Department said it is no longer pursuing criminal charges in the incident, which was initially reported as a sexual assault. Authorities found out about the activity from a video students were sharing, police said.

The incident involved five students, all ages 13 and 14, said Mike Harmon, a spokesman for the police department. Two teens had a sexual encounter while another filmed it and the others watched, the department said today. The incident happened on Feb. 6, a Wednesday; school was out that day.
