Georgetown ISD Revised Drug Policy

Many high schools in the U.S. have a zero tolerance drug policy that may include expulsion, suspension and exclusion from extracurricular activities. For the Georgetown Independent School District exclusion is the go to option -- and that's how school administrators like it. Eighteen-year-old Ireon warner is a former running back in the district. He says his parents might be surprised at how many drugs are in schools. "I see it personally, I hear about it, it's all around," he told us.
