Austin Police are focusing on an ugly aspect of becoming a city with international name recongition: human trafficking.

It just so happens they're taking on the issue right before the Formula-One race. Commander Donald Baker says criminals forcing underage teens into the sex industry is already a problem in Austin, "Ours is not focused so much on the street level prostitution.  We're focused on the events they are targeting children, the use of minors in the act of prostitution."

Baker says most victims are runaways or in youth services and police are trying to find ways to reach those teens and prevent them from getting involved in that horrific and dangerous underworld.
