A new petition appears on the White House 'We the People' web site that allows you to create your own petition.  You've heard of the one that is asking Texas to secede from the United States.  And now there is a petition asking Austin to withdraw from Texas and remain part of the United States.  As of 7:00 this morning, it has over 6,000 signatures.  There are over 150 petitions on the site right now, many asking just about every state to withdraw from the U.S.
