Police ask for help identifying suspects involved in credit card abuse and sex assault

On October 11, 2012, Austin Police Officers were dispatched to a Sexual Assault that occurred around the 9400 block of N. Lamar Blvd. The victim reported that she met several subjects that evening and was later sexually assaulted.  During this time, her wallet containing several credit cards was stolen. During the investigation, detectives discovered that the victim’s stolen credit cards had been used. Surveillance video has been recovered from several locations which show two individuals using the stolen credit cards along with their vehicle. Detectives are requesting your assistance identifying the following persons of interest and the vehicle:

Subject #1

 

  • Hispanic male
  • 25-30 years of age
  • 5’02”-5’05” in height
  • 180-190 lbs.
  • Short hair
  • Some facial hair growth
  • He was last seen wearing a white shirt with two crosses on the back and one large cross on the front, black shorts and black slide on sandals.

 

Subject #2

 

  • Hispanic male
  • 25-30 years of age
  • 5’04”-5’07” in height
  • 190-200 lbs.
  • Short hair
  • Clean shaven
  • He was last seen wearing a gray jersey shirt with dark sleeves, blue flannel shorts, and black flip flops.

 

Involved Vehicle: 

A white Sport Utility Vehicle (SUV) that has black trim.  It is possibly a (about 2005) Honda CRV.  It also had a spare tire on back.
