If you want a 2012 receipt for the payment of your property taxes, you have till tomorrow to get it done. Tiffany Seward with the Travis County tax office says make sure you have all the exemptions you are due. Seward says you will need to bring that payment in person if you want it post dated for 2012, but those taxes aren't actually due for another month. 

You can pay in person by 5 o'clock at the Travis County tax office, or put your taxes in the drop by by midnight or pay online by midnight tomorrow night. If you are not looking for an end of year receipt, you have until January 31st to pay your property taxes.
