A Leander man, identified as 41-year-old James Prestage, has died from stab wounds allegedly inflicted by his cousin, 47-yr-old Reggie Horton this morning. 

Roger Wade with the Travis County Sheriff's Office says they were called to the 22900 block of Big Sandy Drive in northwestern Travis County around 9:45 am. Wade says the two cousins both lived at the house, and got into an altercation. Wade says while the cousins were fighting, a third person at the home called 9-1-1. 

Prestage was taken to the hospital and later died from his wounds. Horton has been arrested for murder, but official charges are pending further investigation.
