Helps is on the way for the family of a Round Rock police officer. Officer Dee Carver with the Round Rock police say they've organized a Bar-B-Que dinner to benefit the family of Officer Chris Cox, who's daughter has suffered a variety of serious health problems since she was born with down syndrome. Medical bills have been piling up including a surgery in October.  Officer Carver says the community is backing the effort that will be held at the Central Texas Harley Davidson dearship at 2801 North IH 35 in Round Rock. 

Carver says there will also be live music an auction and a variety of prizes at the event.
