If you're spending you're day off looking at new homes in Austin, you're likely not alone.
Austin Board of Realtor's Chairman Cathy Coneway says the Ausitn real estate market is boooming, with 6.2-billion dollars in home sales last year... that's a 26-percent increase over 2011, "The only thing going down is the number of days on market for the most part and the inventory. Everything else is going up. The price of the homes are going up, the medium fills are going up, the amount of homes being sold are going up."
Coneways says the median home price in Austin is up to 205-thousand dollars, and she expects it to climb in the spring since that's when they traditionally see the biggest insurgence of buyers.
