Top Texas republicans and abortion opponents are teaming up in Austin today, marking the 40th anniversary of Roe vs Wade, the decision that made abortion legal in America. Governor Perry, Lietenant Governor Dewhurst, and Attorney General Greg Abbott are scheduled to be the headline speakers. 

Dr. Joe Pojman with the Texas Alliance for Life expects there to be more young people this year. He says he's been involved for several years with the annual rally and the number of teens and people in their 20's has increased every year. 

The rally was preceded by a march from 17th Street and Congress to the south steps of the Capitol with the rally starting at 2p.m.
