Efforts to Restore Rundberg continue

Austin Police are giving criminals a run for their money on Rundberg Lane.  They're in the middle of a campaign to clean up the troubled neighborhood.  The Restore Rundberg project covers nearly 6 miles with police combing the streets to make a difference. The project started back in January, and this is the third weekend of the crime crackdown. The Rundberg area accounts for 11 percent of the city's crime, although it only has 4 percent of the city's population.  Already, Austin Police Department has made more than 30 arrests and folks that live in the area. Austin police officers have flooded the area hot spots and are making arrests for any violation they see, no matter how small. That's the zero tolerance aspect of Restore Rundberg.
