A 'Grade Point System' dashboard is coming to 100 more districts

A student G.P.S. system first tested by seven Texas School districts is being rolled out today to 100 more.

It's part of a massive student data gathering overhaul by the T.E.A.  Hays CISD's Brenda Richmond says they were selected to pilot the program and have found teachers can quickly identify needs of students and to perform specialized instruction.

She says they're called student G.P.S. dashboards.  Today the district will help train 100 other districts in the state to implement the next phase of the rollout.
