A police search of a north Austin movie theater has turned up nothing, after seven hours of a SWAT callout.
Officer Marcus Davis says the first call was made at 3:45 this morning by a cleaning crew that two people carring a long object in their hands were in the hallways.
"The movie theater was closed down. However, they had an after-hours cleaning crew that came in. They were cleaning the movie theater. They'd been inside for approximately 40 minutes whenever they saw in the hallway what they believed to be two males wearing all black," Davis said.
Police say they've conducted a thorough search of the theater and have turned up nothing. The Tinseltown 20-screen theater has been released by police so management can open it for business tonight.
