Police say 'I'm sorry' robber strikes again

Police say the man robbed at least five convenience stores in early July in northwest Austin. He is also believed to be behind another robbery Thursday night at a 7-11 on Braker Lane. They say just as with the previous robberies, he came into the store, showed the clerk a weapon, and got away with an undisclosed amount of cash. Fox News reports he is also recognized by his apologetic nature. He's been dubbed the 'I'm Sorry' robber, because he's been somewhat apologetic to the clerks, apologizing in some roundabout way for having to rob them, and assuring them they'll be okay. Police say he may be apologetic, but he's still armed and considered a public threat. Anyone with information is asked to contact Crimestoppers.
