Some interesting stories are coming to our attention from from the fans of Formula One and some of them live right here in Austin.

One of the fans who will be perched high above the track, on turn 12, is Mariana Mejia, "We moved to Austin five years ago, and it's been like a blessing to have it  here,  because we've went to Montreal (Canada) to see it twice.  And now we have it right in the backyard and for, what, ten years."

Mejia says almost 50 members of her family will be in Austin and they've collectively spent just about 25-thousand dollars in tickets for the Sunday event.
