The feds catch one of the most wanted sex offenders in the state in South Austin.

67 year old Lloyd Lester Gibson the third was placed on the most wanted list after failing to register as a sex offender and violating the terms of his parole when he moved out of the Fort Worth area. Officials in Dallas contacted the Lone Star Fugitive Task Force that he may be in Austin. Law enforcement found Gibson in the Oltorf and South Congress after several days of surveillance and was arrested. Gibson was convicted of indecent exposure, indecency with a child by fondling, indecency of a child by exposure and burglary. He's locked up in the Travis County Jail for now, and will be sent back to Tarrant County to face charges of failing to register as a sex offender.
