Officer who shot and killed UT Sniper laid to rest

The police officer who shot and killed the U-T Tower sniper in 1966 is laid to rest with police honors today in his hometown of Menard. Wayne Vincent, President of the Austin Police Association says Houston McCoy will always be a part of APD's honored history. McCoy died last Thursday at the age of 72 after a long battle with lung disease. McCoy was buried with police honors.
