A pair of men suspected in robbing a South Austin McDonald's and allegedly pistol-whipping an employee are under arrest. Lieutenant Michael Eveleth with the Austin Police said after getting a few anonymous tips, they tracked down the suspects.
"Detectives began looking at Ricky Ybarra and found that he had been arrested on the 3rd, for possession of a controlled substance and had in his possession a 45 caliber handgun which is the same caliber of gun used in the McDonald's robbery," said Evelyth.
22-year-old Joseph Jackowskie confessed to the crime after police tracked him down. Because a weapon was used during the robbery, the pair could face life in prison if found guilty.
