Why is Gov. Rick Perry, a man who got a D in Meats at Texas A&M, using the Board of Regents to mess with University of Texas President Bill Powers?

I think I’ve figured it out.

Perry, a West Texas guy who should know a rib-eye from a kumquat, might not be impressed that Powers did his undergraduate work at the University of California at Berkeley, an institution equated by many in College Station to a communal pot operation.

In Perry’s mind, what good is a university if you don’t get any Senior Boots?
