Over-spending and drinking too much top list of biggest holiday bust-ups
The image of a couple holding hands on the beach at sunset may feature on many a holiday brochure - but it turns out the reality of a couple's break is quite different.
According to a new survey, nearly two thirds of people argue with their other half on foreign turf, usually within the first few days.
The poll, of couples aged 20-55, found that top bust-ups on holiday include spending too much money, drinking too much, differing priorities on what to do for the day and fussy eating.
More women than men became frustrated about what their partner spent. For men the top frustration was how long it took women to get ready.
Other common niggles from both sexes was constant complaining that they’d forgotten an ‘important’ item, talking too much and ogling other holidaymakers on the beach (both men and women).
If that sounds familiar, online couples' shop SexShop365, who conducted the research, has enlisted the advice of dating coach James Preece.
