Rubio Hits Snoop Dogg Over Music Video: ‘We’ve Had Presidents Assassinated Before in This Country’

Florida Senator Marco Rubio decided to weigh in on the semi-controversial new video from rapper Snoop Dogg, featuring the mock assassination of a clown dressed as Donald Trump.

“Snoop shouldn’t have done that,” Rubio told TMZ, “We’ve had presidents assassinated before in this country, so anything like that is something people should really careful about.”

In an interview with Billboard, Snoop Dogg said the use of clowns were intended to mock the ridiculousness of Trump and how the daily absurdities of his administration are stifling conversations about more important issues.
