Cap Metro, Boy Scouts and Overweight Children | October 12th, 2017

The boy scouts of America will allow females in the ranks starting in 2019. The Boy Scouts of America will allow scout dens to choose if they want to remain a single gender or integrate. The plans will move in phases, with Cub scouts accepting girls first in 2018.  We asked you how you felt about the change in our twitter poll and we Head from former explores scouts and eagle scouts. 

Austin continues its push for people to take mass transit options. In an effort to relieve our crowded roads, Cap Metro will launch the second round of its mobility project. The project focuses on the immediate neighborhoods south of the river. The goal of the program is to get 5-10% of the residents in the targeted location to use busses.

A new study finds that child hood obesity rates are higher in in lower income school districts. The study finds that while over al 30% of children are overweight, those living in Eanes ISD have much lower rate than those in Del Valle ISD. Todd and Don discuss their opinions of why this epidemic is occurring and wrap their minds around calorically empty foods.

CBL Properties continue tradition of closing on Thanksgiving Day. The company said it made the decision after they received overwhelming support last year. Todd smells Bravo Sierra and calls them out while we have to teach don the hip young stores.  Birkenstocks are still cool, Right?
