Christmas Spending, Net Neutrality, and Charlie Rose | November 21st, 2017

Hour one: Austin City council released the name of its six final candidates for city manager; Charlie Rose has been accused of sexual harassment by eight women; a Customs and border patrol agent was killed in van horn in what appears to be a drug smuggling incident, we ask if you think the border wall would have prevented this tragedy.

 ATX will waive parking fines for people who can prove they took alternative transportation instead of drinking and driving; city departments admit to spending untracked money on training programs for positions that may not exist in the future; Uber has agreed to purchased 24,000 autonomous cars from Volvo as part of its expansion of autonomous cars; City Council members have delayed the southern extension of Mopac citing environmental concerns.; Austin Police may have a new contract; and Austin ISD has sold its headquarters for $36.5 Million.


Hour two: Charlie Rose has been accused of sexual harassment and says he thought his advances were based on "Mutual Attraction”; The FCC has announced plans to gut Net Neutrality rules and regulations; Uber has been penalized $8.9 million for hiring drivers without proper licenses; Kathy Griffin says she has been effectively black listed in Hollywood for her political satire; Austin officials are investigating increased traffic along Cesar Chaves;  Franklins BBQ is back in business after a fire shuttered its doors:  and Bill Clinton faces fresh sexual assault allegations from four women.


Hour three: We play Trump vs Charlie Rose on #TrumpTweets; The Weinstein scandal has drawn into question the use of nondisclosure agreements and sexual assault cases; we play our 80’s trivia game; net neutrality regulations introduced by the Obama administration may be repealed by the FCC and we hear from a caller whose wife was the victim of workplace harassment.
