ACC to Host Health Sciences Open House

Austin Community College’s Health Sciences Division hosts its annual open house Saturday, February 24, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Eastview Campus (3401 Webberville Rd.) for those interested in exploring a career in healthcare.

Community members and prospective students can tour facilities, view demonstrations, and meet with faculty and staff from the divisions’ numerous programs, including dental hygiene, nursing, radiology, sonography, surgical technology, and more.

“Healthcare continues to be one of the largest and fastest-growing industries in Central Texas,” says Pat Recek, ACC dean of Health Sciences. “At the health sciences open house, you will be able to explore the most in-demand jobs and observe the state-of-the-art facilities and equipment available at ACC to get you prepared for a career in this field.”

Registration is not required but is encouraged at austincc.edu/healthcareers. Check-in is available in Building 8000, Room 8500
