AFD looking for man they suspect in intentionally setting fires at new building

The Austin Fire Department is trying to track down a suspected arsonist that set several fires at a new building along Spicewood Springs Road. Lieutenant Randy Elmore says the Texas Board of Realtors building is under construction right now, "We got a call on August 16th about 6 o'clock in the morning that a fire had occurred at 4800 Spicewood Springs. The Fire Department never responded, but investigators were called out to the scene. When investigators got to the scene, they saw several what appeared to be several small fires set within the building."

Lt. Elmore says the fires were set between 3:00 a.m. and 4:00 a.m. He says neighbors have been complaining about the new building which is the new home of the Austin Board of Realtors.
