APD makes arrest in connection to last weeks deadly hit-and-run

Austin Police charge a man responsible for a deadly hit and run crash in North Austin last week on I-35 near 183. Robert Copeland was the victim and the driver of the car who hit him fled. Police investigated a clue which led them to arrest 28-year-old Rafael Padilla. He told police he was rubbing his eyes when he hit Copeland. Padilla is charged with felony failure to stop and render aid.
