APD wants more info on human skull donated to Goodwill

The police want to know more about a human skull that was donated to the Goodwill's store at 5555 Lamar in the past few months.

Detective Derek Israel says the store called them when they discovered it in a
container, "We don't believe that any crime was committed. But the Medical Examiner's office, as part of their investigation, and they're wanting us to help them to try to find the person who dropped off the skull. So we can find out where it came from and what the circumstances were for which it was held."

Israel says they're not sure when or how the non-profit store received the skull either. Anyone who may know more about the donated skull is asked to call the APD's Homicide Unit.
