Austin police catch three responsible for Eastside muggings

Three people are under arrest,including two juveniles, after a series of muggings earlier this week on Springdale road.  According to Austin police, the suspects walked as a pack up to lone pedestrians, pulled out a BB gun, demanded money and then beat up their victims. 

"One victim ran away and was chased and was punched as he was fleeing and was able to escape. The second victim, they pointed the gun at him and demanded property and the two that didn't have the gun started beating him and took his money and his property," said Sgt. Anthony Bigongiari.

20-year-old Javonte Garner is facing two counts of aggravated robbery with a deadly weapon.
