BREAKING NEWS: Kelley bonded out

Greg Kelley has been granted bond by a Williamson County judge. Kelley walked out about 3 in the afternoon Tuesday, greeted by a swarm of friends, familiy, supporters and media. Kelley was convicted of child sexual assault and given a 20-year sentence. A hearing of Kelley's case earlier this month revealed Cedar Park Police investigators bungled Kelley's case. Wilco DA Shawn Dick called it a 'catastrophic failure of the criminal justice system." Texas Rangers have said there are three suspects in the case. Jonathan McCarty, one of the suspects is in Williamson County jail on unrelated charges. The third suspect has not been named. Judge Donna King has recommended the Criminal Court of Appeals hear Kelley's case.
