Cedar Park Police bring more charges against 'serial rapist'

More victims have come forward, accusing a 19 year old Cedar Park man of what police are calling 'serial rape' and they're also naming an additional suspect.

Chief Shawn Mannix says two girls accused 19 year old Jordan Benford of raping them at the Vista Ridge Ag Barn back in 2012.  He was sentenced to a misdemeanor and placed on probation until more victims began coming forward this summer, "We're reaching out looking for additional victims.  We don't believe that just because we've identified five that we've identified all of them.  And it's so important that if someone's been a victim of Mr. Benford that they do come forward and tell their story."

Mannix says so far they've identified four girls and one boy as victims of Benford and they say they believe Thomas Allen Palacios helped him with one of the assaults.  A warrant has been issued for Palacios arrest and Mannix is confident police will have him in custody soon.
