Central Texas law makes huge meth bust in Bastrop County

A huge meth bust in Bastrop County lands two men in jail. 

Authorities conducted a search of a residence in Cedar Creek and discovered 638 pounds total of methamphetamine, including nearly 150 pounds of crystal meth worth $23 million dollars. 29-year-old Guillermo Andres Juarez-Perez and 27-year-old Alejandro Meza Palacios were arrested with three guns, over $25 thousand in cash and a stolen car. They face mulitiple charges. The bust was a joint effort by several Central Texas agencies including police from Austin, San Antonio, Cedar Park, Williamson and Bastrop County Sheriffs as well as DPS, the FBI and the DEA.
