Commissioner applauds H-P's new data centers

Travis County Commissioner Ron Davis is applauding Hewlett Packard's decision to locate a new data center at the old Freescale campus in east Austin on Ed Bluestein. He says it will mean more than one hundred new jobs for the local economy. The company also announced plans to locate a data center in the Wells Branch area. Both Austin and Travis County offered the company tax breaks to lure the new data centers.
