Timothy Parlin's murder trial wasted no time getting gruesome today. Prosecutors gave the jury details of the day Parlin or co-defendant Shawn Gant-Benalcazar broke into Billie and Sidney Shelton's home in Central Austin in December of 2014 to swipe jewelry. The elderly couple were beaten and stabbed in the face and eyes. Parlin's Lawyers claim he didn't know Gant-Banalcazar planned on killing the couple when he drove him to the victim's home. Parlin who's charged with serial capital murder, is also accused of murdering Austin music teacher Kathy Blair.
