San Marcos police have called off their search for Kara Ryan, a 14-year-old girl who'd been missing since Friday.

Ryan was last seen when she left her home on the 200 block of Horseshoe Bend without permission Dec. 8 at about 11:06 a.m. Her parents called police Dec. 9 to report her as a run away and to seek help finding her.  There was some concern over notes she'd left behind that indicated she may be suicidal.

Police have not yet elaborated on where she was found or whether she was with anyone els.
