Most-wanted criminals arrested in Austin

The Lone Star Fugitive Task Force has been busy today.

The task force arrested an illegal immigrant wanted for continuous sexual abuse of a child. 37-year-old Raul Martinez-Quintero was taken into custody in East Austin after a brief standoff with officers. Martinez-Quintero has been deported three times.

The task force also arrested 32-year-old Justin Lamar Mitchell at a north Austin inn. He was wanted for a South Austin gas station armed robbery ten days ago. He was fingered, literally, when he left behind a vitamin water bottle he drank from and police were able to lift his fingerprints and positively identify him.
