Motorcyclist dies in Northwest Austin crash

A motorcyclist has died following a crash on Anderson Mill at US 183.  Austin Police have shut down Anderson Mill between Pond Springs and US 183 while they investigate.  Police report he is a Hispanic man in his early 30s.  He was not wearing a helmet.  He was speeding and lost control of the motorcycle and crashed into a large Ford truck.  He was thrown from the bike and pronounced dead at the scene.  Eyewitnesses are wanted.  Contact the vehicular homicide unit at 512-974-5789 if you have any details.
