Roughly 75-percent of Austinites polled in a new survey say they want a Major League Soccer team, and 60-percent want a stadium.  41-percent want the revenue that an MLS team might generate, and Josh Babetski with the MLS Supporters Union thinks a stadium near the city center could be a financial boon:

14-percent are either opposed or strongly opposed to both the team and using city-owned land for a privately funded stadium.
