State sues company that makes "gasoline saving" pills

The Texas Attorney General claims a gas saving product is a scam.

Attorney General Greg Abbott gets a restraining order against Bioperformance Incorporated based in Irving and owners Lowell Mims and Gustavo Romero. The company markets a gas pill that it claims will save fuel when put into your cars gas tank.

Abbott says what’s in the pill won’t save you gas. He says the product was shown in tests to do absolutely nothing. Abbott says his office will go to court to try to permanently shut the company down a get refunds for customers.
