Teen Stabbed at South Austin Popeye's

AUSTIN -- A teenager was stabbed multiple times Friday night in South Austin, police say.

The Austin Police Department tells KVUE the incident happened around 7 p.m. at the Popeyes on Manchaca Road.

The boy has multiple stab wounds, and he was taken to the University Medical Center Brackenridge with potential life-threatening injuries.

APD said the teenager was taken into surgery.

Police have not made any arrests so far. APD crime scene is there.
