Arrest Made in Skeletal Remains Investigation

The Travis County Sheriff's Office says it has made an arrest in a case involving human skeletal remains which were found in southeastern Travis County on Sunday.

Officials say search crews from TEXSAR were alerted by a cadaver dog to something underneath a tarp under a bridge in the 13000 block of Maha Loop, and further analysis has led investigators to believe it is the body of Paul Michael Longoria, who was reported missing.  It was a series of leads that led search crews to the area.

On Wednesday, police arrested 19-year-old Samuel Allen McMarion of Creedmoor and charged him with murder and tampering with physical evidence.

Longoria was first reported missing in July.
