Angels' Richards has no-hitter through six innings

ANAHEIM, Calif. (AP) — Garrett Richards of the Los Angeles Angels has not allowed a hit through six innings against the Boston Red Sox on Saturday night. The Angels lead 2-0. He's thrown 86 pitches, 50 for strikes. There have already been three no-hitters this season, all by California teams. Josh Beckett and Clayton Kershaw of the Dodgers and Tim Lincecum of the Giants have accomplished the feat. The Angels have thrown 10 no-hitters, including one perfect game, in franchise history with the last coming on May 2, 2012 by Jered Weaver.
