FedEx Cup: Where 1 week can change everything

NORTON, Mass. (AP) — Stuart Appleby knows one week can change everything during the FedEx Cup playoffs. He hasn't come close to winning all year and was in danger of having his season end early. He strung together three good rounds and one great one at The Barclays to tie for second, and now Appleby is poised to get in all the majors next year. Geoff Ogilvy can only hope that he's next. Ogilvy missed the cut at The Barclays and planned to spend the next month out of golf. But a perfect series of events put him at No. 100 in the standings to get into the Deutsche Bank Championship. Ogilvy says everyone at the TPC Boston is still in the hunt for a $10 million playoff.
