2 dead in shootings at Dallas apartment complexes

DALLAS (AP) - Dallas police are trying to determine if two fatal shootings at separate apartment complexes and the wounding of another person are related.

Police did not immediately say whether anyone has been arrested over the gunfire early Monday.

Investigators say one person was found fatally shot at a South Dallas apartment complex, then officers were summoned to a nearby complex about another person slain.

Authorities say at third person turned up shot at a nearby convenience store and was transported to a hospital. Further details on that person's condition weren't immediately released.

Names of the victims and further details on the investigation weren't immediately available Monday. Dallas police did not immediately return a message.
