3 sought after College Station armored car robbery

COLLEGE STATION, Texas (AP) - Police are seeking three men who wore masks as they robbed an armored car in Central Texas and used a vehicle stolen from the Houston area to flee.

College Station police say nobody was hurt in Monday afternoon's holdup in a bank parking lot.

Investigators say two Loomis workers were confronted by two suspects who stole an undetermined amount of cash. Police say at least one of the suspects had a gun.

The third suspect drove the getaway truck that was later found abandoned. Investigators believe the vehicle was stolen in Harris County.

Police did not immediately say whether the armored car was making a pickup or dropping off cash.
