President Trump's military parade idea is a head scratcher for one Texas lawmaker.

While critics slam away at President Trump's idea of having a French-style military parade in the nation's capital, Texas GOP Senator John Cornyn is not sure what to think about it. "I think any time we have a chance to honor them, that's a good thing. But I really hadn't what this might look like, what the plans would be, and if there's a better way to do it."

Cornyn, who comes from a military family says he's proud to represent a state with so much military presence and personnel. "I think it is appropriate to honor our military whenever and however we can. Whether or not this is the best way to do that or not, I haven't really reached a conclusion on that." Conryn's father served 31 years in the Air Force.
