Documents: Coaches admit falsifying records in DISD recruiting investigation

DISD internal investigative reports obtained by News 8 on 11 coaches and athletic administrators show how rampant recruiting is at some high schools.

In the reports, DISD coaches admitted to routinely falsifying student-eligibility paperwork. And the district's former University Interscholastic League (UIL) compliance officer, who was among those fired this month, told investigators that some coaches serving on oversight committees approved other schools' improper athlete transfers so that theirs would not be voted down.
