A San Marcos father and son are jailed on drug charges. Police staked out an apartment complex after getting complaints and saw 56-year-old Jack Maniscalco and 22-year-old Mason Maniscalco loading up a pickup truck with  boxes containing nearly fifty pounds of marijuana. A police radio and about $26 thousand dollars in cash were also found. Authorities believe the suspects smuggled the weed from out of state and were intending to sell it in the San Marcos area. Both were charged with felony possession and money laundering.
